People take their cues from the leaders state of mind. For example, as a leader, one has to be in particular mindful to how to manage emotions if your organization is undergoing change. How a leader handle emotions during these crucial times can help or hinder the change process. It is a know fact that if the resistance to change is emotional, it is the hardest form of resistance to overcome.As the leader handling a change initiative, do not avoid the emotions that accompany the change process. The leader is the one who sets the mood and manage the emotions. A leaders upbeat mood metaphorically oxygenates the blood of the followers. It may be one of the about potent contributions you can make as a leader.
